The article is correct in the limited scope of Royal Air Force fliers. However, five Commonwealth airmen received the VC while serving under RAF command. The missing names are available here:

RFC & RNAS

This page acknowledges that there were VCs won by flyers of percursors to the RAF, but I can't seem to find any page listing them in this fashion. Would it be better to create a pair of new pages and link them here or to create a subsection here?Nickpheas (talk) 09:41, 28 November 2017 (UTC)

I have created a Category:Royal_Flying_Corps_recipients_of_the_Victoria_Cross for RFC recipients of the VC, though so far I have only been able to identify 12. Does the 13 on the page include the one member of the Australian Flying Corps to receive one? While Canadians seem to have served in the RFC, the Australians had their own organisation.Nickpheas (talk) 13:22, 15 July 2019 (UTC)
