Errors edit

Someone needs to spend some time carefully going over this list. I set about repairing what red links I could, but soon found that there are frequent errors of repetition in the list. That is, a birth place will be repeated in successive entries, for instance, when it is only correct for the first entry. I've had to leave my project unfinished, once it was clear the scale of the problem was much greater than I'd first thought. --Ken Gallager (talk) 14:48, 27 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

This article in its current state is a mess edit

See title. The table has way too much extraneous and frankly unnecessary information. There is no need to know the place of burial in this article. One can go to the congressperson's Wikipedia article to find that out. The same goes for each person's date and place of birth. I would argue that the successor column is unnecessary, too, as that information will be available on each person's own article. The point of this article is to find basic information about the congresspeople who died in office.

As for the length of the table, I think separating it into one for the Senate and another for the House would also improve the article. Many list articles split by chamber. It would also eliminate the awkward column titles, e.g. "Serving since (in the House/Senate)" and "State (district)."

Killed congressmen shouldn't be here edit

The leade of says that those killed belong in another article, yet some on this list have that listed as cause of death, thus indicating they should be moved. Preferably by someone with at least basic subject matter knowledge. 2A01:4F0:4018:F0:D169:B945:6AED:2B89 (talk) 01:41, 17 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
