Colors.

edit

Are the colors really nessacary for this article? they hurt my eyes and if they are _really_ needed then at least make them less blidning.Teal Thanatos (talk)

It's just the usual red and there are only small lines. I see no problem with it. Grk1011/Stephen (talk) 03:18, 21 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Seeing red

edit

Does anyone realise that all the episode names in series one have a connection to the colour red? - Arun Reginald (talk · contribs) 23:17, 22 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

^Every episode with the exception of Pilot has a connection with the colour red!!! ^_^ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.28.138.70 (talk) 21:23, 5 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Descriptions

edit

Where did the descriptions go? They were extremely helpful! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.10.155.191 (talk) 13:03, 30 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Those for season 1 are on The Mentalist (season 1) and for season 2 on The Mentalist (season 2). Xeworlebi (tc) 15:46, 30 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

More on table colors

edit

I know that all the episodes in both seasons somehow use "red" in the title, but do the 2 season tables need to be color-coded in red as well? At least on my screen, the red and red-orange are so very, very close. If people want them both red, at least can we have the colors more distinguishable? This is just a suggestion, of course, I don't want to change it and possibly create a war. --Logical Fuzz (talk) 17:15, 30 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Good point, I have changed to color for season 2 to a blue-purple like in the intertitle. Xeworlebi (tc) 17:27, 30 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
Wow, that was fast! Much appreciated. I was just searching for other reds on other "list of episodes" pages. The blue is great. --Logical Fuzz (talk) 17:30, 30 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Red in the titles

edit

I changed the sentence regarding that, because there have now been two episodes in the second season that don't contain any red reference. Enigmamsg 19:50, 11 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Which two are those? The only one I can see that might be confusing is 18-5-4, it refers to the 18th, 5th and 4th letter in the alphabet which are R, E and D, spelling red. Xeworlebi (tc) 19:55, 11 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
Looking through the second season episode titles, I guess the second one is "Aingavite Baa". It means Red Water in the Shoshone languageXeworlebi (tc) 20:40, 11 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

RED-emption (admittedly a stretch for them, but still...) KnownAlias contact 21:00, 11 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Ruddy Cheeks

edit

since it aired on March 9 in the US, shouldn't that be what we go by? or are we going by the first time it aired anywhere? 74.108.86.32 (talk) 20:13, 13 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Yes, "original air date" refers to the date on which the episode first premiered, regardless of where that is. Canadian stations often get episodes of American television a day or even a week early. SchrutedIt08 (talk) 22:34, 13 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Wrong episode count? 100th episode

edit

hi, there seems to be inconsistencies with the numbering and episode names in season 5. for example: CBS mentalist website claims the first episode of season 5 is "Little glass bead" (unlike IMDB who calss it "the crimson ticket").

Also, according to many sources, the 100th episode is "Red Dawn", so there is a problem with the episode count... see etonline The_Mentalist_Celebrates_its_100th_Episode_with_Flashback_Episode, mentalist wiki אמא של גולן (talk) 13:23, 2 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

The CBS website never updated their information after the episode title was changed. 5x01 is called "The Crimson Ticket", there are many reliable sources to back this up. "Red Dawn" was produced as the 100th episode, but was aired as the 101st. This is why the production codes are out of order. "Cherry Picked" actually aired as episode 100 because "Red Dawn" was delayed a week, even though it was still advertised as being the 100th episode. This, for some reason, is common practice for TV shows. Fox has prematurely advertised landmark episodes of Family Guy three or four times. -- SchrutedIt08 (talk) 10:30, 6 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
