Talk:List of PlayStation 2 games (A–K)

Whiplash edit

There is 2 Whiplash games, how can the other be put on?

The one listed is the racing game, but there is also the Whiplash game that featured a rabbit and a weasel and wasn't racing at all.

Approximate Number of games listed edit

I hope no one minds. I counted the number of lines on one "page" and multiplied that by the number of "Page Downs" from the start of the list to the bottom. It over estimates the number of games, but I thought a viewer should have some idea of the number titles in english available to the prospective PS2 gamer. I rounded down this number to 1400 and placed it in the first line of the entry. Actually, using Word to count the bullets (sounds violent), asterixs rather, there should be 1418 entries at 09/08/06. I left the ~1,400 though, as this page is under constant revision (beats the 563 on the Xbox games page).

Table Update edit

The table's interface is very outdated compared to some other game list pages. Consider combining the two pages and making it more in line with the tables for the Dreamcast, GameCube, and original Xbox. Venomouswario (talk) 02:26, 12 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

It's not outdated. It's split because of technical limitations due to the sheer number of games in comparison to those other platforms. The layout is fairly standard. -- ferret (talk) 19:50, 12 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Big Bass (JP) / Mark Davis Pro Bass Challenge (NA/EU) edit

Combined these two games, as I believe they are both the same game after testing both titles personally.

Can't find any existing internet sources to corroborate my claim, but best I can do is show comparisons between:

You'll see exactly the same game UI, menus, etc. It also doesn't make much sense that a Japanese-developed game (SIMS Co., Ltd.) was never released in their home market, so I think I've stumbled across the correct pairing here.
