Hitler Youth banner/flag not shown here edit
just a few minutes into the 2013 film The Book Thief (film) (and several more times later), a Nazi flag (or banner?) is shown hanging in (the context of a children's school) where the black swastika is on a square/diamond of white, rather than a circle of white. Instead of a plain field of red in the background, there is a white stripe down the middle. I'd never seen this before, and it's not on this page. Flags of German Imperial Colonies Not Shown edit
Should the flags of the colonies in the German colonial empire be shown here, such as the flag of German South-West Africa and the flag of German New Guinea be listed here?
Also what about the flag of the Imperial Colonial Office?

The Kriegsmarine, Heer, Luftwaffe flag [War ensign of Germany (1938-1945)] is the æsthetically superior. It is graphically correct as a flag (others look better but as paintings). Non Nazis try to diminish that fact. Gamers like it. I am lethally anti-Nazi if you ask.

Terminology edit
Germany has nowadays no "war ensign" (Kriegsflagge)! There is a flag used by the armed defence forces, even in the state of war. But it isn't named so!
