Article too big edit

At my last edit, Wikipedia reports this article is 103 kilobytes long — that's almost 4,000 lines and is waaay out of line with Wikipedia:Article size guidelines. It exceeds the capability of the browser on my Windoze system, causing system crashes; the browser on Linux barely handles it. The article should be broken down into roughly 1,000-line chunks. I'm suggesting the following breakdown:

  • Chunk 1: KA-- through KE--
  • Chunk 2: KF-- through KK--
  • Chunk 3: KL-- through KR--
  • Chunk 4: KS-- through KZ--

That should result in four articles, each roughly 27 kilobytes in size. That's still large, but should be manageable for most browsers' editors.—QuicksilverT @ 04:04, 4 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
