Talk:Lint remover

Opening heading edit

How are lint rollers perforated? It occurs that if all the sheets are exactly the same length, then at some point the length of a sheet would be either significantly more or significantly less than the circumfrence of the roller, resulting in wasted paper and/or inefficient use.

On the other hand, does it follow that it is a more economical solution to create sheets that are all perforated at slightly different lengths, which would likely make them more expensive to produce?

Anyone with further insight on this matter please respond asap as this is keeping me up nights, thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.126.31.3 (talk)

I imagine they wrap the spindle with one continuous sheet and make a cut afterward. You must be very tired after three and a half years without sleep, so please go get some rest! — Bility (talk) 18:21, 20 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Lint rollerLint remover – There are multiple types of lint removers, including the roller and (as also discussed in this article) the brush. It makes more sense to use the generic title that can encompass all the different types. Theoldsparkle (talk) 17:16, 13 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

  • Support: "Lint remover" would allow the article to be expanded in the future with all the other contraptions for removing lint. — Bility (talk) 18:21, 20 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
