Talk:Line A (Prague Metro)

Latest comment: 17 years ago by LessHeard vanU

The article states

Presently it has 13 stations and 11.0 kilometres of track.

Is this correct? This averages a station every 900 metres (not counting the aggregate length of the stations!), which would likely mean that some are considerably closer. This would appear to go against the claim that it is a quick route as the trains would not have the opportunity to get any speed up before braking for the next station. It is likely to be quicker than on foot, but not by much! It is, look at [1]. Average commercial speed for metro is 34,6 km/h. Travelling time for complete line A is 23 minutes. --Jklamo 22:15, 13 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
Okay. BTW great link, is it already on the Prague Metro page? If not, it should be! LessHeard vanU 23:11, 13 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
