In the spirit of full disclosure... edit
...I've been "blogger-in-residence" at two of the Lindau meetings. A member of the organizing team at the time (who has since moved on to a different organization) found out I'm active on Wikipedia and asked me for advice on what to do to improve the WP pages describing the meeting. Since I've found the meetings quite interesting (and also since I hope to go back to blogging about them some time), I said I'd have a look at the articles. I also explained about the nature of Wikipedia articles and told my contact he could help by sending me reliable sources describing the meeting and its history; this, he did. I don't know how much time I'll have to spend on this, but I'll do some work on it right now, and thought it best to document the background of my involvement. Article update 2015/16 edit
Hello,
just to be upfront about it: I am part of the communications department of the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings. In the coming weeks I will edit this article to bring it up to date since unfortunately it is a little outdated. Of course I will respect the spirit of Wikipedia and try my best to use a lexical style and omit unneccessary PR stuff. On occasion of the meetings' 65th anniversary this year the German Museum of Bonn published an updated version of their book on the history of the meetings - I will use this book as neutral base for my edits.
