I'm almost certain she did (keep her maiden name). Reference was made to it in an episode last week in the UK. Somewhere between episodes 5582 and 5587. El Paulio (talk) 13:33, 22 February 2009 (UTC)

OK, as we all know Libby recently separated from Dan.

Just because she is now separated it does not mean that she will automatically revert back to her maiden name of Kennedy. In fact she may decide to keep Kennedy-Fitzgerald as Ben also changed his name to Fitzgerald didn't he? Libby doesn't always change her name every time she marries/divorces as can be seen from the above discussion regarding Libby Kirk! We should keep the article as Kennedy-Fitzgerald until the character makes up her mind what name she wishes to be called by --5 albert square (talk) 01:14, 15 December 2009 (UTC)

Past character?

In light of Libby being removed from the opening credits and Valentine's contract running out, I think it's time we listed her as a past character. Unfortunately there hasn't been a clear answer to this situation. The actress is ill and has taken a break from working, but Neighbours does appear to be acting as if she has made a proper departure and not coming back, at least not soon. - JuneGloom Talk 17:13, 28 November 2011 (UTC)

Yep, I agree. I've made sure the article states the actress is on a indefinite break and I've mentioned the contract info, though I used a different ref. As you mentioned on my talk page, we were right to keep her listed as a current character, as she could have returned at any point during 2011. - JuneGloom Talk 17:34, 28 November 2011 (UTC)

@WILDMANC: The birth date parameter was removed from the infobox per this discussion, so it will not show up. Birth dates are in-universe trivia and more suited to the sites you mentioned. Fictional characters are not born, but created by writers/producers who often change birth dates to suit the storylines. - JuneGloom07 Talk 00:52, 5 October 2019 (UTC)
