What happened to him ?

edit

Did he give up acting for a reason ? Or just fade out ? -- Beardo (talk) 15:03, 31 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

The page at present has a section documenting his screen roles, but nothing of the stage and writing work for which he reportedly left films. -- Deborahjay (talk) 15:36, 22 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Resemblance

Why is he looks almost like Zac Efron?--Nathan900130 (talk) 12:30, 5 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

It's the other way around. When Leonard Whiting played Romeo on screen, Zac Efron wouldn't be born for another 21 years. -- Deborahjay (talk) 15:34, 22 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Age at filming

edit

The article currently says: The third act nude sequence, it is claimed, was "secretly filmed" in September 1967 by director Franco Zeffirelli, despite the alleged objections from the two stars who were cast as Romeo and Juliet in the film, released in 1968. If substantiated, that would show Whiting was aged at least 17 years and 2 months, during the controversially shot scenes and crucially, well below the age of consent of 18 (as was co-star Olivia Hussey). I'm not sure what point the latter sentence is trying to make. Whiting was born June 30, 1950. The movie premiered on March 4, 1968. Hence, Whiting is known to have been under 18 when the movie premiered, and thus wondering whether the plaintiffs can prove he was 17 years and 2 months old when the nude scene was filmed seems to be beside the point. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 17:43, 5 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

In the third paragraph under "Career", the hyperlinked name of actress Jane Seymour is linked to a picture of Jane Seymour, one of King Henry VIII's wives. 216.211.242.32 (talk) 02:29, 23 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
