plagiarism concern?

The whole section "Why are vintage Lenco turntables interesting?" sounds to me very close( too close?) from http://www.onceanalog.com.au/once_analog_classic_turntables.html. I came across your site looking for links of people that have attempted to build turntable plinth similar to what Kenwood did years ago (with the ARCB) . I was curious to know if you tried mixes of epoxy resins or damped concrete aggregates in any of your turntables.

Nice turntable by the way -- very attractive.

I feel flattered that you used the description I wrote on wiki-pedia for the LENCO turntable -- I am a big fan of LENCO's , and I am working a PT2T based plinth for some L75's that I have.

These "problems" are false

The issues -- coming from an obviously biased set of editor(s) -- cite critiques that are 'false' in my mind, especially this last and newest issue relating excessive and improper use of copyrighted material. This is a completely false accusation -- all the citations are from public INTERNET sources: therefore there can be no "excessive or improper use of copyrighted material" -- Where is this copyrighted material?

Moreover, it does NOT read like an advertisement -- it reads like a factual account of why audio hobbyists find this "used and UN-marketed" turntable interesting and useful. Certainly a pertinent discussion/topic for Wikipedia.

Somehow, the fact that this is a "used and non-production" turntable seems to have escaped the Wikipedia editors -- how can you "advertise" an non-production product? These tables are used and hard to come by -- and take lots of effort to rebuild.

Thus I perceive that this article has been the target of an unjustified barrage of Wikipedia editorial warnings that are without justification -- if one of the editors reads this please explain each of the "issues" below:

• This article has multiple issues. Please help improve it or discuss these issues on the talk page.
• This article may contain excessive or improper use of copyrighted material. (March 2012)
• This article appears to be written like an advertisement. (December 2011)
• This article may need to be rewritten entirely to comply with Wikipedia's quality standards. (December 2011)

Non-free/advertisement concerns

I reviewed the source material and the content here, and I couldn't find enough in the now-named "Background" section to be worth retaining. Our purpose is to create an encyclopedia, not advertise for individuals or brands. Additionally, much of the content was plagiarized from various sources. Contrary to some of the above comments, yes, things on the Internet are still presumed to be copyrighted, and you can't just copy and paste from Web sources. The small evolutions over time in that content don't rescue the fact that the seed of the source was a copyright violation. (ESkog)^(Talk) 19:10, 17 May 2015 (UTC)
