Untitled edit

If any of you would like to help me work on this, I would very much appreciate it.

Anyone know what's supposed to be cleaned up about that article? SkreeHunter 03:04, 9 Jun 2005 (UTC)

  • The wall of text kind of put me off, and for all that there is, it covers maybe the first hour of gameplay. It shouldnt take much more than that to overview the entire story. Probably didnt use the right template, but that was the closest I could think of. Kertrats 04:17, 9 Jun 2005 (UTC)
    • Yeah, after looking at FFVIII's story section, I realized I went way too indepth. I'll fix it within a week probablly.SkreeHunter 03:16, 10 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Moving the cleanup box. edit

Actually, everything except the storyline section is Ok in the cleanup regard, I think. If you don't object, I'm going to move it back tomorrowKertrats 05:10, 30 August 2005 (UTC)Reply

Major merging edit

Unless someone objects, I think it's best if all the short location articles are merged into a single longer article similar to Locations in the Warcraft Universe. Ziggurat 21:11, 21 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

I'm in total agreement. I was "random article"-ing around and stumbled into one of the section articles... the fact of the matter is that none of those articles is, individually, ever going to be anything other than just a stub. I guess I'll put this page on watch and if someone more involved in the project doesn't do it, I'll put up some merge tags when I get to it. --Vengeful Cynic 21:54, 1 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
Seeing as no-one else has commented since I put up the suggestion in February, I'll just go ahead and put suggested merge tags to Legend of Legaia locations in all those articles. Ziggurat 22:03, 1 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
And while I'm at it, the characters listed in Category:Legend of Legaia could probably equally be merged to Legend of Legaia characters or something similar, and the category itself deleted. All this information is really too short for a series of separate articles. Ziggurat 22:29, 1 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Needs a nav template edit

A nav template with a list of links to the various articles on Wikipedia dealing with this game would be very helpful. Are all of the relevant pages already in Category:Legend of Legaia? --Cyde Weys 07:36, 19 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

What? edit

"Then, from the heaven also stops Vahn from restoring the Genesis Tree to its full power. After a brutal fight, Noa runs over to Terra, who is dying. Terra reveals herself to actually be a Ra-Seru who took control over the wolf in order to keep Noa safe until she was old enough to accept her destiny."

I'm tempted to say that this is vandalism, however I'm unable to find any earlier versions to revert to. I've played the beginning of the game, albeit a long time ago, and there's a huge chunk missing. Help?Secunda1 21:21, 25 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Legaia articles need major overhual edit

I practically memorized the entire storyline by heart, among other things, and I could easily see that the "plot synopsis" is more like a spoiler-rife summary of less than 1/4 of the game's entire storyline that has a significant amount of errors (On Mt. Rikuroa, Zeto appeared only to Noa and Terra, teleporting away after directing the Seru monster Caruban to attack the two; when the player, as Vahn, reachs the summit, he/she only sees Noa, Terra, and Caruban). I also see similar errors in the rest of this article, along with the other related ones (e.g. characters, locations); they need a considerable clean-up. MARQ 00:00, 17 June 2007 (UTC)

I don't think the correct answer is to chop off the rest of the section. I think we need to do some huge condensing of details and cut the length at least in half, change the title of the section to "plot" (because that's what it IS), and warn for spoilers. Faunis 06:47, 5 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

I trimmed down the original article, 1316 words by my count, to a more reasonable 894 words. I also changed the title of the section to plot. I think this is sufficient, because the spoilers are now assumed, the description length is reasonable, and the plot description now covers only major moments in-game. As this is an RPG, covering all side characters would easily double, if not triple, the length of the description. Faunis 06:29, 7 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Seru Brides edit

The concept of Seru Brides is adequately explained in the locations article, and it is not an aspect of the game that appears more than once. Unless there are any specific objections, I will remove the Seru Brides portion of the "Other Aspects" section. Faunis 07:00, 7 July 2007 (UTC)FaunisReply

Plot edit

It might be a good idea to forego the "plot" section entirely, and just put in a "synopsis" page which only goes so far as the invasion of Rim Elm, which set the precedent for later gameplay. What do you think? —Preceding unsigned comment added by LeeKang271 (talkcontribs) 23:17, 20 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

I thought the idea of a plot, when discussing a game, was designed to be encyclopedic. In the sense that the plot outline of a book would tell you the story, but not detail the nuances in depth and thus destroy the point of reading the book itself. It's the same with a game, we are not here to 'review' the game, but offer a clear verification of what it is about, the content and facts, history, development, sales figure etc. If this information can be found and citated.

PS2 Compatibility edit

I notice that when run on an early PS2 system, the game suffers from a good deal of lag and skipping, in the combat sections. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.76.131.253 (talk) 03:45, 4 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
