Dear Wikipedia's operator, I'm Italian and I live in Canzo (Como province). Recently I've correct some imperfection on Canzo's page. Now I've correct Lecco's page, Lecco is not a City because in Lecco there is not a Cathedral and have not a diocese. Thanks for your attention. Federico. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.31.113.252 (talk) 22:18, 1 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

lecco IS a city edit

In italy cities are defined as such by the president for decreto. Lecco is included in this list http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Citt%C3%A0_d'Italia

So it IS a city it is no matter of cathedrals and such at all

A place boon for mishaps of confusion edit

It should be noted that Lecco and Lecce are both italian cities and they are located in the most opposite parts of the boot-shaped country and they are about 1000km or 11 hours of rail travel apart from each other. Every year some confused foreign tourists find themselves arriving at a skiing resort wearing bermuda shorts or hauling snowboards to slopes of orange plantations... They are then conveniently sent to Brindisi airport to catch a Ryanair flight to Bergamo, or vica versa. 87.97.101.182 (talk) 18:59, 15 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

World Ultimate Club Champions edit

I think they are hosting the World Ultimate Club Champions. This should probably be tossed under the sports section. Its hosting the 2014 championship according to this site. http://www.worlds2014.org/ Briwivell (talk) 04:03, 8 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

Climate edit

The average daily max temp in the table is actually the average daily temperature. The actual average daily max temp can be found at the source. The table here should be adjusted accordingly. Oalexander (talk) 05:13, 21 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

New contributions and editing of the article edit

Dear users, I'm contributing to this article by adding new sections (Etymology, History, Geography, Traditions and Folklore and Manzoni's places) translated from the Wikipedia article in Italian while verifying the already existing information, and adding sources and useful external links. I am also adding some photographs, from the Wikimedia Commons repository, in order to make the article clearer and more captivating. I am contributing to the Wikipedia Community as part of the "Heritage and ICT" exam in the master's degree "Planning and Management of Tourism Systems" at the University of Bergamo. Please find available the page of the university project: Wikipedia: GLAM/UNIBG/Heritage studies and ICT. If you spot any problems, do not hesitate to contact me. Alessandro Manzoni's quote edit

Good evening, I've just added a quote from the novel written by Alessandro Manzoni, which describes perfectly where the city of Lecco is located and its territory. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Laura.annis (talkcontribs) 20:23, 5 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Manzonian places edit

Good evening, I've just added the translation of the description of the Manzonian places. The text has been translated from the Italian version of the article about the city of Lecco, after a carefully check of the sources. The sources that have been used are listed in the "Biliography" section and I also added the direct link of the Manzonian places described on the official website of Lecco, which can be found in the "External links" section. I also added some photos regarding the Manzonian places, in order to make the article more complete and captivating. I'm contributing to this article on Wikipedia within an assignment for a "Heritage Studies and ICT" exam for my master degree in Planning and Management of Tourism Systems. Here is the direct link to the project I'm participating in: Wikipedia:GLAM/UNIBG/Heritage studies and ICT. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Laura.annis (talkcontribs) 22:20, 5 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
