Opening Scene: Why was Mr. Joe Clark so upset and what was the meeting about? edit
I have watched the movie, Lean on Me, many many times. I have never really understood exactly what Mr. Joe Clark was so upset about at the beginning of the movie. What was happening? Why did they exclude Mr. Joe Clark from the meeting? What policies were the Superintendents trying to sneak into the Union that Mr. Joe Clark knew would destroy the school?
