Most of this article appears to be copied from http://news.ninemsn.com.au/general.aspx?id=63374. All the author has done is changed phrases like "which has spanned" into "spanning". This article is more like a copy rather than a paraphrased version of the source.
- Ah. That explains the phrases like this one: "Oakes's political commentary is often cutting" (sic) And also this one: "His interviewing style is equally incisive, and based on good research" 203.214.155.23 10:39, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
- Large chunks of unverifiable and poorly copied material here, including claims that could be considered libellous. His weight loss edit
Laurie's been known for decades as a very, very big man, but of recent months he's lost a great deal of weight. He looks pretty healthy, so I presume it's diet/exercise/stomach stapling/whatever and not some horrible disease. Does anyone know his secret? -- JackofOz 15:11, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
