This article is useless

edit

What kind of pathetic LAKE article has no photos or maps of the lake in question..? A person could learn more in two seconds by glancing at any atlas or road map than they can learn from this "article". —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tortugadillo (talkcontribs) 04:32, 4 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Infobox lake

edit

Is there a problem with the data in the {{infobox lake}}? There was an infobox in this version, but then removed. -- User:Docu

Image

edit

I agree that the image used in this version is already used in another article where it fits well, but, unless there is a better one we can use, I would add it here as well. Better a relevant image, than no image at all. -- User:Docu

Infobox and image

edit

The information is accurate. I've restored it. I will try to find a different image. So far as I know, the image was originally posted for use in this article but it seemed to fit the other article as well. I also restored the deleted references. Note that the person who is complaining above about there being no picture is the one who removed the picture.FleetCaptain (talk) —Preceding comment was added at 17:55, 4 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

That is the second time that Tortugadillo has removed a photo of Lake Mendota.FleetCaptain (talk) 05:27, 5 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for re-adding an image and the infobox. Given that the new image is somewhat different, it might not be necessary to mention in the infobox whose boat it is. -- User:Docu

Crazy page code

edit

I have taken the subst of the Panorama simple and Infobox lake in order to "fit" the panorama picture in next to the infobox. This needed to be done to guarantee that these two templates cooperate well with each other regardless of the screen resolution this page is viewed on. If anyone has any question please let me know. Infoboxes aren't of much use once they are substituted. Please avoid doing so. I rearranged the contents of the page to trying to make both fit together. -- User:Docu

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Lake Mendota. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.
