Recently there was an AfD discussion about A.M. Woods (Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/A. M. Woods). On 8 February 2022, the result of the discussion was to redirect to Lacrosse at the 1904 Summer Olympics#St. Louis Amateur Athletic Association. Within that discussion was this gem (emphasis mine):

“the annual report might contain information about him, such as his name or date of birth, that could be helpful in finding additional information if such information exists (the Annual handicap athletic meet seems less likely to contain such information, as I assume he was not disabled) BilledMammal (talk) 09:52, 1 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Of course, anyone who knows a thing or two about sports knows that a handicap athletic event has nothing to do with being disabled. Handicap sporting events were quite common in the late 19th century and well into the 20th century and continue to this day. Jeff in CA (talk) 10:20, 4 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
