Responding to copyright issue edit

It is not clear to me where a willing editor is permitted to work on trimming out the sentences from this page that are copyright problems. There seems to be a problem with the template that was used for blanking this page. This page says that there should be a pointer to where such work can be carried out. As it stands, there is a threat that all will be deleted and the parts that are okay will be lost forever, and it is not clear to me, after carefully reading the text that shows on the page, that there is any alternative available. This is not encouraging the dream that wikipedia could one day become a useful resource! Sminthopsis84 (talk) 01:34, 13 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

The problem was solved when I asked the person who posted the copyright violation template. The subsection entitled "Can you help resolve this issue?" requires clicking on "show" (to the far right), in order to reveal "Otherwise, you may write a new article...".
