Iron gates edit
I delete the link to Iron gates. In this Wiki the article Iron Gates leads to a gorge on Danube river, Romania. Certainly, that is not Derbend in Dagestan, Russia. On the other hand, I am not sure if the iron gate quoted in Orkhon Inscriptions is Derbend. Because there is one other iron gate, ie., the one in between Balkh and Samarkand,Transoxiana. The iron gate in Dagestan was under Khazaria rule and unlike first Göktürk Empire, during second empire, Turks were not interested in Khazaria.Nedim Ardoğa (talk) 14:43, 14 November 2009 (UTC)
Birthday edit
Kül Tigin's birthday has been given as 685. But this contridicts with Orkhun inscriptions. According to inscriptions he was only 7 years of age when his father was dead. That makes 687.Nedim Ardoğa (talk) 03:54, 17 March 2010 (UTC)
