Why this article no longer qualifies for speedy delete

edit

I removed the speedy delete tag from this article b/c I believe it no longer qualifies. Yes, normally an article deleted by AfD that is recreated may be speedy deleted. However, per the G4 criteria for speedy delete this criteria "excludes pages that are not substantially identical to the deleted version, pages to which the reason for the deletion no longer applies." This article is not the same article originally brought up for an AFD. In addition, the consensus of that AfD was that there were not enough reliable sources to prove notability. This new article appears to correct that issue. Finally, the article was on the speedy delete page for more than 24 hours, indicating that other admins also had trouble deciding if it qualified for speedy delete. All of this resulted in my decision to remove the speedy delete tag. If desired, people may bring the article up for a new AfD discussion. However, my assessment is the article does meet our notability guidelines --SouthernNights (talk) 17:57, 4 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
