I wrote up this article for Kirmen. He's not very well-known in the United States, but the publishing of his book in English should change that. He is quite recognized in Spain, though, and in the Basque Country in particular. I used the introduction of his book, written by his American translator, as the backbone for this article. It contains details about his life and career.
