This article was renamed from Emiliano Revilla to The kidnapping of Emiliano Revilla, with the edit summary "BLP1E".

As a wealthy industrialist an a former mayor Revila had other notability factors, and may have measured up to our notability criteria even if he had never been kidnapped. Even if he required being a kidnap victim to push him over the edge of notability, those other notability factors mean that he was not a BLP1E. Geo Swan (talk) 01:05, 10 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

The three criteria for BLP1E appear to be met here. Certainly the sources in the current article cover Revilla only in the context of the kidnapping. Nor can I find any sources that don't mention him in connection with the ETA kidnapping.That man from Nantucket (talk) 02:48, 10 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
