American vs Canadian pronunciation edit

Americans pronounce it the Spor-TIGE (like rhymes with midge) while Canadians pronounce it the Spor-TAHGE (like Taj in Taj Mahal). Canadians pronounce it just like the rest of the world. The American pronunciation is incorrect. Macshill (talk) 22:12, 16 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Engines in US models The base Sportage and the LX and EX trim levels come with the 2.4L i4 gasoline multi-point injection engine, providing 176hp @ 6,000 rpm. The SX trim level comes with 2.0L turbocharged i4 gasoline direct-injection engine, providing 256hp @ 6,000 rpm. Both engines have continuously variable valve timing (CVVT).
