Word and etymology edit

These should be clearly defined, and in one place. As it stands, it says (nebulously) "literally denoting 'glory' or 'splendor'". (The word "literally" should probably not be used at all.) But then there's a large section "Etymology and related terms" that largely contradicts this. Piano non troppo (talk) 15:56, 20 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

The modern persian reflex is "farr" like in the Shahnameh, you should really actually know what your talking about and use citations!!!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.11.191.101 (talk) 16:10, 6 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
