Proposal: move this page to Kanjira. Kanjira is a much more common spelling, as a Google search shows. Badagnani 09:13, 17 March 2006 (UTC)

Removing of "The kanjira is probably the most difficult Indian drum to play" edit
I don't think it's more difficult than Mridangam, tabla, ghatam... etc isn't it? And this is a little contradictory with the previous sentence who says that Kanjira is used as a supporting instrument of the Mridangam.
To my opinion, this kind of hierarchy is useless and very subjective.
