This is presumed to be notable, and why its notability has been questioned? I'm searching for where it's called one of the worst bicycle accidents in the United States, and all I can find is a claim by a bike safety advocate that it's the worst in Kalamazoo County. One is reports from Associated Press via CBS News, Washington Post Toronto Sun, CTV News and CBC (all found on searching Google News). Plus, media outside of Michigan also have coverage of this event.
