I'm not sure how much to go into the story. I could go all the way to the end but I don't think thats the best idea. If anyone has any good ideas?

Characters edit

Names of some characters (mother, father, that ninja guy at the end who pretended to be mamoru)

Episode Titles edit

Does anyone have the Japanese name of the episodes? --Tclphz 16:28, 6 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Anime-Manga differences edit

The plot of the manga (i have no idea about the novels) has Yūna witnessing a drug-deal, we don't actually see the event but she tells Mamo about it. The gang boss is after her because of this. Kryss hon 16:08, 24 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Article sufficient edit

This article has enough and all the information it has to put up. Wikipedia an encyclopedia and can only be story summarizer at most. Over-elaborative story digests are direct violations of the producing company's copyrights. Those who want to know more about Kage Kara Mamoru! should watch it on a DVD set or on TV and not visit Wikipedia to know the whole story. Deleting tag... ...It doesn't even have information on each separate episode, alot of shows do so why arn't lawsuits flying around about all of that crap like Fullmetal Alchemist or Heroes or w/e? Toxic Ninja 05:22, 18 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

This doesn't make sense... edit

"陰からマモル" means "Mamoru the Shade" or something similar to that. "陰" means "Shade" or "Shadow" or "Yang", "から" is like "the" or something that connects stuff... like "no". "マモル" is the name. It can't be "Mamoru the Shadow Protector", it would have to be "Shadow Protector" or "Mamoru the Shadow". Just because it has "Kage" doesn't mean it means "Shadow", like this "影" Kage. I'm changing it. Moocowsrule (talk) 04:40, 7 November 2008 (UTC)moocowsruleReply

Why are we calling it "Mamoru the Shadow"? As far as I know から doesn't mean "the" or else, "Kyou kara Maoh" would be called "Maoh the Today" I guess it might have already been answered, but 陰からマモル can have a few different interpretations. First, the から needs to be examined. This can mean "from," as in the case: 警察から逃げる。 (To run FROM the police.) Using the "kara" in this way, would mean "Protect from the Shadows" Which makes sense, as Mamoru is protecting Yuuna from evil and the "shadows" so to speak, as well as protecting her from(position of being in) the shadows, as he is a ninja. A second take, is to look at Mamoru's first name, and notice how here, 守る is written in katakana, as マモル, so it could be his name. In that case, it could mean, "Mamoru from the Shadows" which kind of makes sense, because as a Ninja, Mamoru is in the shadows alot, so to speak. So the title of the book was really written as a pun in Japanese. --Seaghyn16 (talk) 04:48, 27 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
