I can only confirm a single daughter for Julia Caesaris Minor. I am going to edit that to reflect the sources. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Black Sword (talkcontribs) 07:27, 31 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Do we have two different persons named Quintus Pedius here or did Julia Major marry her great-nephew? 210.50.142.164 (talk) 20:27, 21 November 2008 (UTC) Ian IsonReply

Confusion edit

The article first claims that the elder Julia was the grandmother of Lucius Pinarius and Quintus Pedius, then gives a pedigree indicating that the younger Julia was the grandmother of these two men. Which is it? --Saforrest (talk) 01:51, 22 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

The elder Julia was married to a Pedius and a Pinarius in succession, so she is the grandmother of L. Pinarius and Q. Pedius. The younger Julia had three daughters: the youngest Atia Balba Tertia was married to Marcus Atius Balbus, her father's son by another woman an she was the mother of Marcia, the wife of Paullus Fabius Maximus. For this information see Syme's Augustan Aristocracy. Calling her the mother of Lucius Pinarius is an error. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 157.193.6.67 (talk) 13:44, 27 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
