Torres edit
Torres is the middle age name of Sassari. The Roman town of Turris Libisonis (or Libissonis) became unpopulated (costs were dangerous due to Muslim pirates and other enemies) and thus lost its ancient identity, it was re-funded later as the port of Sassari: in fact, Porto Torres.
