Peter Watts’ Rifters: In Popular Culture?
editThe first of Peter Watts’ Rifters science fiction novels takes place at a hydrothermal vent in this zone. Would adding it to an In popular culture section be okay? The author's research on the geology was extensive, in addition to his own PhD-level expertise in marine biology. The economic development of the sea floor is the backstory, with the fragility of the Cascadia fault becoming a critical aspect. MrRedwood (talk) 04:03, 7 June 2023 (UTC)
