Please Keep

edit

Please keep this article. This should be notable because, Mayor Juan Perez is one of the first Mexican-Americans to lead a Wisconsin city. Senator Heimermann 04:04, 26 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

No source for that info? Moreover, you were the one who added the speedy deletion in the first place...I changed it db-bio. Gzkn 04:07, 26 November 2006 (UTC)Reply
Your wrong on that! Click Here and look for "But now Perez, one of the first Mexican-Americans to lead a Wisconsin city, faces a recall. It's a campaign that's turned nasty, personal and racist, said Perez, the native-born Texan who has called Sheboygan home for 22 years." Senator Heimermann 04:09, 26 November 2006 (UTC)Reply
Then add it in there. I still don't understand what you're doing...first you create the article, then you add the speedy deletion template, and now you're arguing that you want to keep the article. Gzkn 04:10, 26 November 2006 (UTC)Reply
This is also a BIO of someone and may not need to be deleted. If there is a tag out there for that, it should be added. I can not find it. Senator Heimermann 04:15, 26 November 2006 (UTC)Reply
I added the source. Is that ok? Senator Heimermann 04:21, 26 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia may delete the article since I will fail trying to keep it. Senator Heimermann 05:30, 26 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Photo

edit

I tryed to put a photo of Mayor Juan Perez on the article, but both were deleted. I'll leave this task up for somebody else. Asher Heimermann 04:56, 6 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

The first photo was deleted (twice) for not having proper licenses and being a copyright violation), the second photo was removed from the article because it's a autographed photo of you and the mayor, not encyclopedic at all. Metros232 04:59, 6 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
Asher, if you crop yourself and his autograph out of the photo (so we only see the mayor's head), then the picture would be fine. Otherwise, it's not an acceptable photo to use. Gzkn 05:09, 6 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
I cropped the image and reinserted it. I agree that the image wasn't encyclopedic. This page is on my watchlist just like many other Sheboygan area articles (as a former resident of Sheboygan). Thanks for the image Asher! Royalbroil T : C 07:25, 6 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Should the lawsuit against Perez be added the article?
