MOS update edit
I completely reviewed and copy editted the article. It was clear that is had been hacked together from the PDF used from one reference and perhaps verbatim from a book. There was far too much intricate detail on test flights that I believe was not required and got in the way of understaning the pilot's achievemnets. I'm too lazy to track down the exact ref and add this, but Jeffrey Quill notes in one of his Spitfire books that what Summers meant by his famous words was not 'the plane is perfect and we do not need to make any changes to it', but simply the more prosaic 'do not make any changes before the next time I fly it, there is nothing critical we have to attend to, and I want a constant baseline'. I'd make some attempt to re-write it, but unfortunately, there are so many idiots messing these articles up now, undoing edits etc, and locking them, that I really can't be bothered. Wiki has a problem, and it's it's own 'editors'. Shame. The system almost works.
