De-copyvioing and deprodding

edit

I am de-copyvioing and deprodding this:

  • the author of this page is User:Chris Harris, who appears to also ve the author of the page from which it was supposedly copyvio'ed (his name is all over that page, but only as author of the photos, but I assume he is also author of the text).
  • Joseph Strutt has a 1,181 character paragraph in the article on his father Jedediah Strutt in the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography. I think he can have an article here, or, at the very least, be inluded in his father's article. But there are many biographical articles in Wikipedia shorter than 1,181 character, even with the lack of the commendable conciseness of the ODNB.

BTW, as he did not have any title of which Derby was a part, I think the article title should be changed to Joseph Strutt (philantropist). up+land 18:53, 22 July 2006 (UTC)Reply
