Bush Family Connection

edit

Joseph E. Schmitz is not married to the wife of Jeb Bush's sister. It is Schmitz's brother John Patrick who is. Mexiguy88 17:26, 6 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Gee, I didn't know that Jeb Bush's sister had a wife. :-)   --RenniePet 18:18, 6 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
Oooops. This is what I meant: John Patrick Schmitz's wife is the sister of Jeb Bush's wife. Mexiguy88 02:06, 10 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Mexiguy88? Where did you hear that?" I don't think that is true at all. I don't even think Columba Garnica Gallo has a sister. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.251.27.159 (talk) 23:27, 20 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

IP: This information is accurate. See Columba's NNDB entry. Mexiguy88 (talk) 02:13, 3 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
Further research shows that the above information is apparently inaccurate. See the entry for John Patrick Schmitz at NNDB. His wife's name is Joan. Mexiguy88 (talk) 02:53, 3 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Opus Dei?

edit

I know for a fact that Schmitz claims membership in the "Sovereign Military Order of Malta," but I'm not sure if he's in Opus Dei. (It wouldn't be surprising if he were a member, of course.) Can anyone come up with a source for this claim? Mexiguy88 17:32, 6 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

I searched around, but I can't find a good source for this. • Lawrence Cohen 15:33, 8 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

relatives

edit

I do not think the paragraph about the sexual affairs of his relatives has any place here. (It might belong on the articles for those individuals, where we have such articles, but that is another matter). I have therefore removed it under the provisions of WP:BLP. Please do not revert this without agreement on the bLP noticeboard. DGG ( talk ) 15:05, 8 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
