Just the facts. Follow other page examples and keep it neutral. It's going to be challenged anyway. Blondesareeasy (talk) 04:03, 19 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Opening remarks edit

This is just a start from one source at the moment, but do feel free to jump in and help me expand it. -- Dēmatt (chat) 17:55, 18 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Dematt, thanks so much for beginning this article about a great historian. Keating deserves this and the article can likely be expanded quite a bit, with wikilinks and other features linking it to and from other articles. A great start! -- Fyslee / talk 05:34, 19 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
Some excellent additions, Dematt. I think that Keating deserves much of the credit for turning chiropractic in a more scientific and collaborative direction. The profession has long had detractors and critics in the medical field, and it didn't seem to do much good, but here was "one of their own" (at least he worked for them) who chided and advised, and they listened to him. His role deserves to be outlined here, and you have begun that process. Go for it! -- Fyslee / talk 00:55, 20 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
Thanks, right now I am trying to put together things that others wrote about him, but there are about 10,000 google hits for Joseph Keating! I'm not sure the best method to add things that he wrote without adding an element of OR. Any ideas? -- Dēmatt (chat) 03:43, 20 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
Good point. Using other's quotes is the best way. There are of course other things about him that maybe could be mentioned, although I'm not sure what right now. A bibliography of his available articles would be interesting, since we can link to them. He wrote lots of articles in chiropractic journals, Dynamic Chiropractic, and even in scientific papers, such as some published at http://www.chiroandosteo.com/. There must be some way of making a system of them by topic area. -- Fyslee / talk 06:01, 20 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
