The article states that he "has an English accent."
His accent is only weakly English. His political opponents would wish to play up his birth in the U.K.; it suits their interests.
The only source states it as the subjective opinion on the part of a journalist.
Furthermore, the source in question is the Sydney Morning Herald, which is broadsheet in size but debatable (Broadsheet?Tabloid?) quality. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:8003:F16F:C01:2D29:9B6A:1E0C:24B3 (talk) 08:13, 18 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
His accent is quintessentially British, what are you on about?... 203.46.132.214 (talk) 04:57, 31 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
I would tend to agree, I am uncertain that his accent is a noteworthy feature in terms of encyclopaedic content. Also the phrasing of the sentence in general is a bit odd. I have made an attempt to better pace it with the sentence after that, but happy to be reverted if there is disagreement. Dauwenkust (talk) 05:51, 5 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
