John Weaver (historian)J. R. H. Weaver – He was widely known by his initials, and it seems to be unclear whether his primary given name was John or Reginald (there are hits on Google for "John R. H. Weaver" and "J. Reginald H. Weaver", both far fewer than for JRH, and he seems to have been familiarly known as "Reggie Weaver". • Support per nomination. WP:RELIABLE SOURCES confirm that subject was referenced either by his full name, John Reginald Homer Weaver or by the short form J. R. H. Weaver, but not as simply "John". —Roman Spinner (talkcontribs) 18:15, 6 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
  • Support. He certainly seems to have published predominantly as J. R. H. Weaver, and it's as a published author that most readers will be interested in him. We already say that he was "commonly known as Reggie" at Trinity, whereas we seem to have no sources calling him John. GrindtXX (talk) 20:26, 6 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
