editAll of this looks true for me, but sources need cited. Joncnunn 21:01, 20 April 2006 (UTC)
- Most of this is in the Tennessee Blue Book, just not in this form.
- Isn't the heading enough? Most of the facts cited are verifiable using the Tennessee Blue Book, as stated above in an unsigned comment. I don't see why someone who hasn't even bothered to post a profile or talk page should ask it to look like a term paper. Just saying that it could use verfication under WP:V is sufficient. editIn May 2005, three Tennessee state senators (along with a former state senator, a state representative, and two other political activists) were arrested in an FBI "sting" operation involving corruption called "Operation Tennessee Waltz". (One of the three senators, John N. Ford, subsequently resigned.) Several Tennessee political pundits and editorial writers questioned if whether Wilder's accommodating, low-key leadership style was in some small part responsible for an atmosphere in which this sort of activity was seen as at least somewhat acceptable, although this notion was vehemently rejected by Wilder's supporters. Lieutenant Governor, 1971 to 2007
editJust to be clear, Wilder didn't become LtG until January 1971 (when he was elected Speaker of the state Senate). GoodDay (talk) 16:28, 1 January 2010 (UTC)
