I'm afraid I fail to see a copyright violation here - could somebody please explain?

I understand there is a similarity between "John Rentoul is a British journalist, who is the chief political commentator for the Independent on Sunday", and "John Rentoul is chief political commentator for The Independent on Sunday", but how else am I supposed to phrase it?

It appeared that the article was a close paraphrase of http://johnrentoul.independentminds.livejournal.com/149941.html with some phrases reworded. This can be a copyright problem even if it is not a verbatim copy. Anyway, an admin reviewed it and it wasn't a candidate for speedy deletion. Someone's posting nonsense

Could the moderators urgently take a look at this article. Someone (or some persons?) is indulging themselves by 'editing' Wiki articles by incorporating sections of gibberish into the text. This is the second instance I have found in the past 48 hours! Geoff Powers (talk) 19:22, 24 January 2010 (UTC)

1. Wikipedia does not have moderators: it is up to all of us to help clean up vandalism when we see it.
2. If this is only the second example you have seen in 48 hours then you evidently don't do new user patrolling or recent changes patrolling: I expect to see dozens of such cases in 48 hours.
