The article title is a bit off, in my opinion. Her professional career, books, and notability are generally referred to under the name Joan Bennett. There is a disambiguation issue with the actress Joan Bennett, but it would be better if this article was titled under WP:COMMONNAME in the form of Joan Bennett (Frankau) or Joan (Frankau) Bennett or the less preferred (because it's not on the covers of her books or in her writing, Joan Frankau Bennett. __ E L A Q U E A T E 18:54, 24 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

For WP:COMMONNAME consider: [1], [2], [3], [4], etc.

Okay, according to Wikipedia:Naming conventions (people)#Multiple and changed surnames, we are to use the name she's best known by, which, from the sources is Joan Bennett. It's the name on the covers of her books and how she's written about in the academic world. As there is the actress with the same name, I'll follow naming conventions and add (literary scholar) as the disambiguation. Joan Frankau will still be a redirect for this page, so that should cover anyone looking for her that way.__ E L A Q U E A T E 02:46, 25 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
