He is a major reporter for the New York Times, that is very noteworthy.

There is no evidence or reliable source that he is either a "major" reporter or that his being a reporter is notable. Newguy34 (talk) 20:45, 12 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
This is incorrect. If you would look at the first link under Stories, you will see that he has written 1588 articles for the New York Times, that is pretty "major". John Norrison (talk) 20:47, 12 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
So what? There need to be articles written about him for him to be notable. Grsz11 21:35, 12 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Things about Jim Rutenberg

Most of it isn't nice, but a lot of people have written bits about Rutenberg, here are a few: [1] [2] [3] —Preceding unsigned comment added by John Norrison (talkcontribs) 23:35, 12 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

He's also been interviewed on a major program [4]

In short, he's a journalist a lot of people talk about. John Norrison (talk) 23:37, 12 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

By the way, he was also the main writer behind the McCain story this summer that caused such controversy. John Norrison (talk) 23:40, 12 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
