I think the topic is noteworthy. If there is a general article on Wikipedia about the Chinese problem of people being bullied off their property, I'd support a redirect to that article and inserting the jist of this article into that article. In the absence of such an article, I'd leave this article as-is until an article about the general problem is created. Note that the article, I think, meets the basic criteria:

• there are three reliable sources including The Economist (meeting the multiple published secondary sources criteria),
• that are not related to each other (meeting the independent from each other criteria)
• and that are not related to the late Mr. Jia or his family (meeting the independent of the subject criteria).
