The sources don't spell it out, preferring euphemistic formulations like "non-suspicious circumstances" - but the message comes though loud and clear; he killed himself.
If a person dies of natural causes, they never say "non-suspicious circumstances". What this wording means is that they've eliminated foul play by someone else (murder), and that leaves self-inflicted foul play.
