Childish addition about heckling at ordinary boys gig, they didn't even check their spelling

I have added in the B-side information as announced to Jamie T's mailing list last week Suthnoli 19:29, 26 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Although it is great how people have been adding so much to this, it is now a bit all over the shop. There is info in the "Exposure and Airplay" section that is not relevant in that section (such as biographical info) and there is some sketchy info (like an age rather than a date of birth). If anybody can provide some more accurate info then it would be much appreciated! Thank you x Simon Kilpin 23:03, 3 January 20079 (UTC)

Why did someone take out the fact the boys a posho?

Source? Definition? Maybe something like "his voice reflects a middle class upbringing", if AND ONLY IF it can be sourced (professions of parents, perhaps?)--MartinUK 16:26, 2 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Jamie T If you got the money.jpg edit

Image:Jamie T If you got the money.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 09:41, 5 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Music Career edit

Are the music videos metioned in the Music Career section really necessary? If the videos were award winners or did something really unique, I could understand, but as it stands I'm not sure that it needs to be there. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rubiksphere (talkcontribs) 01:46, 25 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

There must be some confusion. The Jamie T from BPA sang the son Local town in the late 70's. This Jamie T was born in 86. (From the BPA website) The BPA's modus operandi appears to have been to convene for sessions at times pre-agreed according to astrological principles laid out by their guru Baba Ganoush, sadly now deceased. On auspicious dates they would gather and jam. Some of these sessions, listened to in the cold light of 2008, are classic, notably a song called 'Local Town' sung by Jamie T some time in the late '70s. Lots of other artists crossed paths with the BPA, although many now deny ever having had met them. The vocal on a catchy number called 'Toe Jam' is patently David Byrne, despite his reticence on the subject, and at some point during The BPA's 'mauve spell', when Cook and Thornton both insisted they could only record on equipment painted mauve, Martha Wainwright stopped by and laid down the vocals for a dubbed out track called 'Spade'.
