Linking suggestions for orphan article

Pittillo is an example of an indentured servant who not only survived the frontier conditions, but made a good life for himself in the Virginia colony. Editors should look at histories/references to the Byrd 1728 expedition, history of Bristol Parish, and histories of Prince George, Brunswick and Dinwiddie counties to find appropriate places to include links to James Pittillo. He had an appointed position in the parish when tobacco was really important as a commodity crop. With so much land, no doubt he had imported numerous indentured servants and slaves, contributing to the build-up of population desired by the Crown and his influence in the counties. Southside Virginia, where he located, was the place for newcomers and entrepreneurs, and he fits into this. But, I came across his name in the article on Charles City County, to which he appears to have no connection. I will delete it there.Parkwells (talk) 13:38, 21 March 2017 (UTC)

Another suggestion, as editors try to link Pittillo to other articles, pay attention to timing - where he was when. I removed a reference to Bristol Parish and him in the Charles City County article. By the time he arrived in VA, Prince George County, where he settled, had been organized from CCC for more than a decade! it was established in 1703.
