Last short

Maltin and Bann list Derby Day as his last short. Also, Fast Company is actually a 1923 short, just released in 1924. So it's not a cameo. I'll fix it. 75.65.82.153 (talk) 04:40, 2 December 2012 (UTC)

Later work

I've removed a reference to later cameo and bit parts. I think it derives from Davis's entry on IMDb, which appears to conflate a number of people with the same name. There's a discussion of this here: http://littlerascals.proboards.com/thread/961. The LA Times obituary mentions no such work, and it seems improbable for someone who became a distinguished medic. I've put a note next to the IMDb reference, but there may be a better way of clarifying this. Wilus (talk) 12:14, 14 October 2015 (UTC)

I've left the sentence about Davis's family relationship with the Mitchum dynasty, though it also derives from IMDb and I can't find any confirmation. It would be through Cindy Mitchum, née Davis, if true.Wilus (talk) 08:21, 17 October 2015 (UTC)
