Disney edit

A statement in the Cultural references section says that Disney was antisemitic. While this is an occassional rumor, there hasn't been any confirming proof as to his beliefs aside from allegations. I'm not going to remove the statement entirely, but I'm going to change the wording to "alledged antisemitism". 63.139.114.1 18:26, 7 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

GA Review edit

Some minor issues before I would be willing to pass this article as GA:

  • I think there are some missing commas in the first paragraph of "Plot", specifically the first two sentences.
  • I saw two consecutive sentences in the aforementioned paragraph starting with "After". Is there anything that can be done about that?
  • Second paragraph of Plot, first sentence: "have" should probably be "has", and there's an uncapitalized "Scratchy". Also consider specifying "Scratchtasia" to be an "old" I&S film.
  • Are you sure "Unfortunately, their happy vacation" is NPOV and/or not overly-dramatic?
  • Final sentence of plot looks a bit messy. "and immediately decide to never to speak of the trip again." should probably be in a separate sentence.
  • Production doesn't specify who "Merkin" is. The first sentence mentioning him also looks a bit messy. I'm thinking it could be written as "The network threatened...but relented when (whatever Merkin's job is) David Merkin threatened to tell the media. The writers nevertheless promised (relevant content of following sentence).
  • "Beamed" should probably be linked to Transporter (Star Trek). --Lenin and McCarthy | (Complain here) 23:12, 6 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Okay, all done, thanks for the review. Gran2 07:36, 7 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hang on. The last sentence starts with "but". That's not proper grammar. --Lenin and McCarthy | (Complain here) 15:01, 7 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Done. Gran2 15:21, 7 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Itchy & Scratchy and Friends Hour edit

Would be nice to mention the characters from Itchy & Scratchy and Friends Hour. Disgruntled Goat, Uncle Ant and Ku Klux Klam. "Disgruntled Goat had his moments" --ElTio (talk) 15:16, 11 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Possible cultural reference edit

This is a long shot, but the walking hammers in the parade might be a reference to 'Pink Floyd The Wall'. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.159.156.6 (talk) 16:53, 5 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
