All of the sources seem to call the project "Sanlakas", why is our article called "Isang Lakas"? Active Banana (talk) 14:18, 29 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

FYI. in my information there is a party-list group named "SANLAKAS", so there is election this year so not to mislead others and not to campaign on that party-list the station/channel particularly ABS-CBN renamed the Show Isang Lakas which means One Strength and not One Power... to distinguish the differences of the two i will present to you the translation:

One Strength = Isang Lakas

Strength means Lakas in Tagalog.

Strong = Malakas

While

One Power = Isang Kapangyarihan

Power means Kapangyarihan in Tagalog.

Powerful = Makapangyarihan

See The Differences??? --Knight Crawler X (talk) 02:28, 1 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Is there a source for the name change? Active Banana (talk) 03:36, 31 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

PS. Actually Yes, But the source are deleted on this page... I just read it here in the Isang Lakas Page because of so many edits of this page the information is deleted... ( i remember because im not that old not to know that)... --Knight Crawler X (talk) 02:27, 1 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Verifiable content

edit

Wikipedia is not a crystal ball, anticipating future events. Content in articles must be verifiable as having been published in a reliable souce. Please ensure that content added to the article appropriately indicates where the claims come from so that a reader or fellow editor can verify for themselves. Vague claims that on some talk show an actor said they would appear in a particular project are not acceptable. For one thing, an actors claim about working in a future project could be self promotional and so should not be used without further verification. Secondly, the name of the talk show and date of its airing would be needed, and a link to the official webhosted content would be helpful. (Note that links to pirated copyright violations posted by random users on sites like You-tube are not acceptable and should be removed ON SITE from article space WP:COPYVIO.) Again IP, do not return sources that do not actually say that an actor or character is participating in this series. The "fact" that one company or another owns the rights to a character says absolutely ZERO about whether that character will appear in a particular portion of a franchise. Just because you think it will is not good enough. The source must say "ACTOR X is appearing in Isang Lakas (as CHARACTER Y)" or your edits will continue to be removed as vandalism.Active Banana (talk) 19:39, 4 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Request for Comment - Do the sources reliably verify the claims made regarding casting and characters?

edit

A series of edits through made by assorted IPs is claiming that the sources they include in this edit [1] verify the participation of actors and roles in this upcoming series which is the subject of this article which is currently called "Isang Lakas" (formerly "Sanlakas").

I have not been able to verify within these claimed sources any facts regarding Isang Lakas regarding:

Main Cast (long version)

Do other editors feel the sources used in the "long version" verify the contents or should the list be returned to the "short version"? Active Banana (talk) 19:43, 7 June 2010 (UTC)

  • short version - i have not found any indication that the claims in the "long version" are actually supported by the sources provided. Active Banana (talk) 19:43, 7 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
  • short version - for me the "short version" is the true and only verified characters, in the "long version" characters like captain barbell, darna, & dyesebel are not verified characters that will be shown in the telefantasy show, they are license/link/related to or to be shown on GMA 7 like captain barbell for their 60th Anniversary this year.. as for the others like lastikman, varga, kapitan boom, tiny tony, dragonna, flash bomba, & maruja all are license/link/related to and to be shown as "Isang Lakas" on ABS-CBN. All my information are verified, and if the following characters that i mentioned for GMA 7 are to be shown on ABS-CBN 2, i swear i will not edit this "Isang Lakas Page". I will assure you that my information is true and verified information... thanks --122.53.122.45 (talk) 02:14, 8 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
