The BFI has her as beeing born in Greenstown, ("Iris Ashley". British Film Institute. Retrieved 24 September 2017.) but I can't find any record of a place of that name in Ireland. Can anyone shed any light? Nzd(talk) 19:51, 24 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
Found a mention of a Greenstown in County Limerick, ("John Green". The Peerage. Retrieved 24 September 2017.) but no details on it (or, indeed, whether this is where she was born). I'm leaving it there, but it might be something for someone else to go on. That site does have any entry for her ("Iris Blanche Stafford Northcote". The Peerage. Retrieved 24 September 2017.), which I'll try to incorporate at some point. Nzd(talk) 21:41, 24 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
Just to note, I see on WP:RSN that The Peerage is not considered a reliable source, but it looks like it contains useful information that could provide pointers for further expansion. Nzd(talk) 11:57, 7 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
